The Belvedere Muslim Society was established In 1980, in the heart of the sprawling township of Belvedere, which IS situated In the south of Tongaat Being a sub economic area a Musjid and Madressa was a dire need. Alhum-dolillah by the grace of the All Mighty this Musjld and Madressa was established. Which is administered by the Belvedere Muslim Society, for the past 26 years.

This Society runs the Madressa, which caters for 55 learners from the area and has 4 qualified Appas. The Madressa is controlled by the SJU whose inspectors make regular visits to the Madressa to track the progress of learners and Appas.

Our vibrant Moulana Mohamed Fiesel Khan heads the Trust Board with the assistance of five trustees.

The five dally salaats together with Jumma and Eid salaats are performed In this masjld

Various programmes are held during the course of the year Including naath programmes by leading overseas and local naath khaans.

During the month of Ramadaan, tharweeh is performed and also haleem IS prepared and distributed to the needy in the vicinity

The running costs of the Society amounts to R6,500 per month and any contribution from the public is most welcome.
